Last night was my second as a coach for my son's football team. I had worried all day about the heat and humidity, but by the time 5:30 rolled around, it was cloudy.
About 90 minutes into practice, the weather rolled in from the west. There were some nasty clouds! Once the lightning began, it was time to call it a night. Plus, the kids were freaking out.
Tonight will be the first night of full pads for the lads. I think they're ready to hit each other!
