Summertime sandals.

I think I have discovered that while I like to wear sandals in the summertime, I don't like my toes exposed. I'm not sure what it is, but I guess I'm wierd like that.

So, my journey began to find myself some 'covered toe' sport sandals that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I know Keen probably made the first pair of these, so I was after a copy cat brand.

My search led me to Kohl's, where I pulled the trigger on some Kamik sandals for $27. This wasn't a huge bargain, but I was okay with it. Actually, I grabbed some at Wal-Mart initally, but they made my feet sweat.

After bringing the Kamik's home, I decided that I didn't like the ankle strap. So, you guessed it, I took those back, too!

I found some on ebay for $24, and so far, so good. They are Nevados brand, which I'm sure are not top of the line. They will be my go to shoe for most of the summer.
