So, football practice was a hot beast on Monday, with gnarly heat index values in the triple digits. Last night, we got about an hour into practice when the rain and lightning cut practice short.
Since my run on Monday was a crapper, I decided to rest last night. The weather is better today, so I will try to hit the asphalt tonight.
I'm officially running Abe's Amble. The check is in the mail, as they say. I'm trying my best to get Jeremy to run it, too. He's pretty fast for an old dude, so he will probably beat my time...handily.
